RRB NTPC 2026 Overview
RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) is one of the largest government recruitment exams in India, conducted by 21 Railway Recruitment Boards. It fills vacancies for graduate and undergraduate level posts in Indian Railways.
RRB NTPC 2026 has 11,558 vacancies across posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk (undergraduate level) and Station Master, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist (graduate level).
The exam consists of CBT 1 (qualifying), CBT 2 (merit), and Skill Test / Document Verification. Railway jobs are popular for their job security, regular promotions through the DPC, and additional perks like free railway passes for self and family.
